Education System

Visa Processes and Support

• To study in the United States, students need an F-1 Student Visa (for full-time academic programs). The process includes securing admission from a SEVP-approved institution, receiving the Form I-20, paying the SEVIS fee, completing the DS-160 visa application, scheduling and attending a visa interview at the US Embassy/Consulate, and submitting biometrics.

Application Procedure

US universities offer two major intakes each year, with an additional summer intake.

  • Fall Admissions: These typically begin in August/September.
  • Spring Admissions: Starting in January, this intake is ideal for those who missed the Fall intake.
  • Summer Admissions: This intake, which usually starts in May, offered by a limited number of programs.
